  Vrikshasana:- This pose gives you a sense of grounding . It improves your balance and strengthens your legs and back. It replicates the steady stance of a tree. Place your right foot high up on your left thigh. The sole of the foot should be flat and placed firmly. Keep your left leg straight and find your balance. While inhaling , raise your arms over your head and bring your palms together . Ensure that your spine is straight and take a few deep breaths . Slowly exhale, bring your hands down and release your right leg.  Benefits :- Improves balance and stability in the legs On a metaphysical level, helps one to achieve balance in other aspects of life Strengthens the ligaments and tendon of the feet Strengthens and tones the entire standing leg, up to the buttocks Assists the body in establishing pelvic stability Strengthen the bones of the hips and legs due to the weight-bearing nature of the pose

Benefits of Dhanurasana (Bow pose)

 Dhanurasana:

  1. Lie on the ground on your stomach. Relax for a few seconds with long breathing. Bend your legs backward to catch your ankles. This makes your body in the shape of a bow. In this position, the whole weight of your body comes to the abdomen.
  2. Hold it for 20 to 30 seconds and then start exhaling and then continue to take a deep breath. Remember that during the final asana position, only the pelvic area and the abdomen touch the ground.
  3. Repeat the process just 4 to 5 times to get all the benefits of this Yoga position.

Dhanurasana  is an excellent back bending yoga pose for increasing and regaining spinal strength and flexibility. It invigorates the internal organs, especially the digestive organs, therefore removing constipation.
